JOB DESCRIPTION

Brief Description:

The Human Resource and Admin Officer plays a critical role in managing and overseeing the day-to-day HR and administrative functions of the school. This position is responsible for recruitment, employee relations, payroll, compliance with labor laws, and general administration. The goal is to ensure smooth HR operations and provide efficient support to the school administration.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage employee events such as birthday celebrations, work anniversaries, townhall meetings, and team-building activities.
  • Develop and implement the Employee Recognition Program and coordinate Staff Development Day.
  • Handle grievance and incident management, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Oversee employee wellness initiatives and coaching and mentoring programs.
  • Develop, update, and enforce company policies and ensure compliance with employment laws.
  • Manage recordkeeping, documentation, and compliance audits.
  • Administer benefits and compensation programs, including payroll and work pass applications.
  • Prepare annual performance reports and manage reports preparation.
  • Ensure workplace health and safety standards are met.
  • Protect employee privacy and data, and handle employee relations and dispute resolution.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in HR management, including employee relations, policy development, and benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
