𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆

𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆

On November 27, 2024, after much anticipation, HFSE Global Education Group had the privilege of conducting an Outreach Program at Helping Hand Father Sean Burke Care Home for the Elderly, a well-respected nursing home, nestled in the serene New Territories of Hong Kong. This initiative, which was a significant part of our corporate social responsibility efforts, embodied our theme, “𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁, 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁, 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽.” It also marked a meaningful step forward in our journey toward celebrating our 10th Anniversary with the mantra of “Full Transformat10n.”

Moreover, the experience was profoundly humbling and heartwarming, leaving each of us with a deep sense of gratitude.

𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗸𝗲

Father Sean Burke, the namesake of the nursing home, was a revered figure known for his tireless dedication to the elderly and underserved communities in Hong Kong. His compassionate work left an enduring legacy, and his memory continues to inspire initiatives like Helping Hand. As highlighted by the 𝙀𝙭𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙧 (𝘩𝘵𝘵𝘱𝘴://𝘸𝘸𝘸.𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘳.𝘰𝘳𝘨.𝘩𝘬/2024/04/05/𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨-𝘧𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳-𝘴𝘦𝘢𝘯-𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘬𝘦-𝘸𝘩𝘰-𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵-𝘶𝘴-15-𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴-𝘢𝘨𝘰/𝘯𝘦𝘸𝘴/𝘩𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘬𝘰𝘯𝘨/), Father Burke passed away 15 years ago, but his contributions to society remain deeply appreciated. The care home’s ongoing commitment to serving the elderly is a testament to his vision and enduring impact. Spending time with the elderly residents reminded us of the importance of cherishing our families and making the most of every moment with them. Their resilience, wisdom, and joyful spirits were truly inspiring.

𝗔 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲

The programme began with warm introductions, and then followed by engaging activities that brought smiles to everyone’s faces. The elderly residents showcased their talents through songs and dances, filling the room with a lively and cheerful atmosphere. In addition, they participated in a delightful game where they described themselves in creative and humorous ways. Their enthusiasm and willingness to engage were a testament to their zest for life and the nurturing environment provided by the nursing home.

Furthermore, this event would not have been possible without the unwavering support and dedication of the management and staff of Helping Hand Father Sean Burke Care Home. Their tireless efforts in creating a safe and nurturing haven for the elderly are truly commendable. We extend our deepest gratitude to them for their hospitality and for allowing us to share this unforgettable day with the residents.
